https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/how-trump-shaped-science-in-2017/ What a year it has been. Reforms made, some uncalled for and unknown as to the reason exactly -- mostly in the science and environmental departments. The appointment of Scott Pruitt, claims that climate change is a hoax, Rick Perry as secretary of Department of Energy, and forwarding on the Keystone XL pipeline. An advancement or decline? The favor of the Republican party within the environmental wing of the nation is not doing well whatsoever.
Who in their right mind thought it was such a great idea to put all of these people in charge of not only the human species, but all others that reside in the Unites States. It was not a great move on behalf of the American people and I hope they know that. As a minor who is not quite allowed to vote yet, I can only wish for a brighter future that may revert the actions of the recent past and save what is close to being destroyed.
