a. The degrees of freedom used in this exercise was 6.
b. The confidence level we wanted is more than 50% c. 40.6 d. No, not only trait but placement as well. Worms that were closely placed together were more likely to be picked up and "eaten" by the birds of the classroom. Also, when birds were killed, they were not able to consume more worms, making the consumption levels very unequal. e. Worms that were subjected to positive selection pressure were the worms that were earth colors such as green and olive. These worms were more likely to be camouflaged, making them harder to see. Worms that were subjected to a negative selection pressure were those that were more vibrant colors such as red and blue. f. These results indicate that those with positive selection pressure will reproduce more than those with negative because there will ultimately be more left to reproduce. g. Some birds may have better eyesight than others resulting in their ability to see and eat more worms. h.

Drought MonitorDuring July 2015, California was still in the state of a severe drought. We felt the effects drastically in Turlock especially. It was a difficult few years as rainfall was scarce and conservation of water became a major issue. Sea Surface Temperature (SST)Data from 2016 shows how the surface temperature of the oceans is beginning to heat up. This may be happening as a result of carbon emissions, climate change, and/or global warming. Monthly Precipitation OutlookAugust 17 August 31 Within a few days, the precipitation outlook changed drastically with data ranging from the bottom to the top of the spectrum. This may be due to hurricanes on the east and southwest coasts, and wildfires in the west. Total Monthly PrecipitationIn February 2017, the west received more rainfall than the east. I find this unusual because at this time the east coast is still typically covered in snow, or water at least. Average Monthly TemperatureThis graph shows the average monthly temperature in August 2017. Because that was still in the middle of summer, it is predicted that most states were still on the warmer end of the spectrum. However I found it interesting that in states such as Colorado and Wyoming, some average temperatures are more in the 60s or 70s.
The population is relatively stable. If the population stays true to its previous patterns, the size will remain stable.
The population has been declining, but is somewhat stabling out. Most people are middle aged, however those who are younger have been stabling the pyramid out. It will most likely continue to stable out over time. If not, it will continue to decline.
The population is relatively stable. But, it is slightly increasing. It is possible that the population will continue to increase in the case it does not stable out.
The population is declining almost rapidly. It is likely that the population will continue along this pattern as more young adults dwell in the big city compared to children and the elderly.
The population is expanding slowly, but fairly stabling out. It is likely if the population continues along this trend, there will be a stabling out, or a decrease.
The population is relatively stable. It will most likely continue to be stable.
